Arwen Undomiel, Evenstar.

Before I start with today's post, I just need to point out one thing:
STOP SENDING ME JUNK MAIL.

Thank you.
I hate having to empty out my mailbox(es) all the time because of all the spam that's flooding them.

Malay oral is tomorrow. Great, innit? Of course.

Well, whatever happened to "don't talk to strangers"?
I guess it's been declared void in these circumstances. At school, compulsory for all students taking government exams, the strangers are teachers, et cetera et cetera.

Having a conversation with totally unknown people is weird, especially when they hang onto your every word and take marks for what you say. *shudders*
Your future depends on having a completely pointless conversation with certain people of a certain profession.
Wow, even that sounded weird.

We get our English marks tomorrow, if Ms Anne finishes with the marking in time. I kind of dread my marks. Please don't suck please don't suck please don't suck please don't suck please don't suck. Pretty please? With a cherry on top? Yeah...

It has come to a(nother) point in my life where I seem to have nothing to do. I always cure this by grabbing a book and reading, but since it's PMB year, I haven't had the opportunity to do that lately. But it got so bad this afternoon I started reading 'Sabriel'. I'm a few chapters in, I want to continue reading, but there's the IRK test tomorrow. I did make a promise to myself to read for the sake of Cikgu Mahmud, but... No. I will not disappoint myself.

'When there's a will, there's a way,' they say.
And that way here is to cram.

P.S. I was waiting for my tuition class to start just now and realised someone had stuck "OMGSTFU!!" on the back of the computer in big white letters. Is it a trend now to swear in abbreviated form? I don't know.

Confused.

Syaz, where are you?

I need someone from 3R to be online right now. Come on, anyone. I want to know what I got for BM and Maths 2.

Hello??

Damn it. I can't stand it. I need to know. Come on, talk to me.

Thanks Steph, for coming online. I know my marks now. =)

Maths was better than expected.
BM's bad, but hey, you've got to consider who's paper it is. Mine. I got a B3. (Yesss!!!)

Well, if you must know why I skipped school this morning, it was 'cause I actually passed that crappy paper to attend a crappy interview.

I was shaking from top the bottom. Damn scary.
*sticks tongue out at interviewers*
Don't want to talk about it though. I wish to erase the memory. 'Cause it sucked. Big time.
Anyway, I wish I went to school today. There's always this lingering feeling that I missed a lot while I was away.

I'm like, not in the mood to talk a lot right now. Meh. I don't even know what to do... Maybe I should read Sabriel? Should I, or should I not? Hmm...

...I want to.

But the question is, is it the right thing to do?

Viva la Vida; long live life.

NUS selection, man. Maths section sucked real bad, Science section was good.

I didn't study for that IRK test just now. Don't kill me, Cikgu. I'll read next time, I promise.

Before 'cher Yati had the chance to give out our Maths paper, I asked for permission to leave. And she granted it, because she had no choice. I left.

Met Siang Wen and Syazirah on the way downstairs. They're good company.

Squeezed in a car belonging to one of the teachers. Thankfully there was enough oxygen to go 'round.

Didn't get lost and got there in time. Well, sorta. Majority of the people were there already, so you could say we were a tad late. Wasn't our fault. The announcement said, "10.20 sharp" but the teachers came more than five minutes later. I thank them for taking the trouble and sending us to the previously unknown (by me) primary school at Rimba.

'Nywayy, in their hall, Syazirah, Siang Wen and I chose a chair and table (which was way too low of my liking. It made me feel tall though) each and sat down to watch the other people last-minute cram.

None of us brought books so we just talked about... I can't really remember, but we whispered some things.

My stomach was growling throughout the paper. *rumble rumble*, it went, as I shaded one of those little ovals.

There were packets of nasi waiting for us outside, but it was too late. Didn't feel hungry anymore.
I wonder why my mum makes me eat breakfast at school. I'd never eaten breakfast on school days since... Form 1.
Don't break the chain. Don't rock the boat. But whatever.

I had a little in-my-head celebration in the car on the way back, 'cause I'd missed Geo. =)

I reached the Reading Room (un-aircon-ed, because of the stupid leak) just in time to watch Peter Pan.
"It's soo British!"
God, the accents.
Neko just likes it because she thinks Peter is cute.

I want to buy Coldplay's new album, 'Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends'. Should be good?

Personal space please.

Meh. My MSN is down again. Can't get online.

Cikgu Mahmud dropped a bombshell this morning. He was going to give us tests starting tomorrow. Like, oh em gee em gee em gee em gee em gee em gee em gee em gee em gee em gee em gee em gee em gee *inhales* em gee em gee em gee em gee! He's turning into Cikgu Rozidah!

Well, he already looks like the guy in the History textbook, so I guess why not. Just don't be majal, okay, cikgu?

I need a break, all right? Seriously, I'm not kidding. I can't keep working like this 24/7.
Yeah, I know I sound lazy. But what the heck, I'll say it anyway. (Because it twoo. It da twuth, weally. *cough*)

My brother's hogging up all my personal space. Nowadays, it's like, "Get away from me! I need to breathe!"
He messes up all my stuff, loses things and then blames me for the mess he makes. Aw. Isn't that brilliant?
Yeah, Syaz, I know how you feel with Syazwi. Little brothers. *rolls eyes*

Our Geo teacher's still on MC (medical certificate, my friends. It's to let people know that yes, you really are sick).  We were discussing plans to go to the Mall to watch a movie when the principal appeared at our door. Whoops. We sat down and looked at her innocently. She seemed satisfied with our answers (teacher's on MC) and left.
Then Syaz, Steph, Qilah, Aimma and I started this really ridiculous game. We passed things in circles with a pair of pens/pencils acting as chopsticks. It wasn't easy. Kept dropping them.

My Commerce marks sucked. =(

Ms Anne told us our English 1 sucked too. Aww. That's so nice of her.

Oh the suspense..!

Syaz, Syaz! I saw Steph's picture!
Hahaha. So funnyyy.

Damn it. I spent the last few minutes wondering why it felt so hot and just realised I didn't switch on the air conditioning.

You know, I've gone so long without blogging, and now I've forgotten how to blog. Like, what do I write?

It's one thing to sit for the exam, and another thing to pass it. The part I hate most about exam time isn't the studying (surprise surprise), but that time when they return your papers, complete with your marks. I can't stand it. There's nothing you can do if you don't score as well as you wanted, and the waiting, I hate the waiting.
When teachers give out the papers in order from lowest to highest, cross your fingers and say, "Don't say my name, don't say my name.."
When teachers give out the papers in order from highest to lowest, go, "Say my name, say my name..."
When teachers give out the papers in random, close your eyes, pray according to your religion and hope for the best.

Another thing I hate is when teachers announce the marks out loud. It's embarrassing. Honestly.

I think our Science teacher was very disappointed with our results this time. She smiled less than usual, and was sort of distant. Meh, I don't know. None of us failed though.

What's more disappointing was what Cikgu Ramlah told us this morning: None of us got an 'A'.
How is that possible? Do we really suck that much? Surely we cannot be that terrible at B.M.?
I don't know. Maybe we are, but then again I'm just another confused student.

I dread my Geography marks, if we're getting 'em back tomorrow (I doubt that though, but who knows?). I wasn't sure of more than half the answers I wrote. I am so doomed.

I wonder if I made Ms Anne cry over my composition? I asked a few people who did the same question I did, but nobody had the boy die. Perhaps it's just me who likes to give tragic alternate endings to happy picture compositions. But come on, the boy was lying face down with a pool of blood surrounding his head and the police not caring in the last picture. How could that not mean he was dead?

My Sejarah section of IRK must've sucked a lot, because I hardly read anything and hantamed my dates. Argh.

I am afraid of 'Cher Sofy. That's all I can say about Commerce.

And as for History? I'll be lucky if I get an 'A'.

My Maths sucked and will remain that way.

Oh the suspense.

I hate it.

I love cake.

Doesn't the second picture look so much more beautiful than the first one?

It's always been about the lighting and always will be.

Anyway, the cake was from The Empire, looks good doesn't it? Yeah.

First bite was like heaven sinking into your mouth, so sweet and soft at the same time.
The second bite was to satisfy the need for more.

By the fifth bite or so, the extreme sweetness starts kicking in, and when you swallow, it sort of...burns?

When you're more than halfway done, the whole thing becomes heavy in your mouth hard to swallow. (Probably served me right for being greedy and asking for a large piece.)

Cake summed up: I now dub it "diabetes on a plate".

Had a sliver just now after dinner.

Verdict: Delicious in small quantities. Bad for health.

Freedom~~! (for now)

We're finally free *insert fifteen dozen exclamation marks* but there's this feeling I can't shake off.

This freedom, it's so momentary. PMB is coming. Oral exams are in a few days. Oh joy. *note sarcasm*

Since we love word equations, here's one:

PMB qualifying + being sick -> not good

Yeah, maybe you guessed it. I missed the first day of qualifying thanks to this bug that's going round. Damn it. Damn it a LOT.
No mood to study, missing one whole day, two papers, sucked "majorly".
I had to stay back for the second and third days to make up for lost time. It was a big disadvantage for me, 'cause it left me with less time to cram for other subjects I hadn't studied for. Am I not awesome? *cough no cough*

And let me verify one thing: yes, I do hate multiple choice questions. It doesn't allow me to write the rubbish I write for teachers to give me marks. It's either I'm correct, or wrong. Meh, don't like it.

On the third day of christm- oops sorry, went off-topic there, we did the Australian English Competition. It was kinda fun, you know, a break from what we've been reading all week (school syllabus).

BM 2 was surprisingly passable. Cool. I liked it.

My dad's birthday was on the 7th. I have a pic of the cake, but it's downstairs. I'll upload it tonight, maybe, if I'm not watching the Olympics.

Excuse me, but I need to sim.

Be back?

YES!!

P.S. Tira, yes, thank you for being understanding. Hahah. I just realised how much you miss out on when you don't access the internet for more than a week.

Right now, the internet is fundamental.

Mark my words.
