Eyebags.

Oh my gee. I am so sick of Chem right now.

Our Chem paper is on Tuesday, so why on earth have I been reading about redox and metals and all that crap all Saturday? I think I might be paranoid.

I really don't want to screw up my Science papers.

Neither do I want to screw up Math.

Or English. That wouldn't be good.

And probably History, too.

In short, I don't want to screw anything up at all.

But seriously, I spent an entire day with my Chem notes, Twitter, Tetris and MouseHunt.

I think there might be a high possibility that I'mma lose my mind sometime sooner or later. Preferably later.

There was this epic-ly awesome thunderstorm during dinner just now. Loved it.

I'm feeling pretty bummed right now. Disappointing qualifying results for Ferrari. Kimi's last race for Ferrari, and he qualifies eleventh while Hamilton's on pole.

Like Stel said, we can wave goodbye to our third place in the Constructor's Championship.

Tomorrow night'll be the last race of the '09 season. Can't say I'm looking forward to it, 'cause I know I won't be able to watch the '10 season on television anyway. It's not quite the same, following the results on live race centres and Twitter.

I wish I could see the new Yas Marina track live, and hear Steve Slater's voice commentating.

Now I feel like I've missed the entire season.

And now I feel severely deprived.

I need to chill, man.

Maybe I should switch to Physics now.

After all, I've got all Monday afternoon to do Chem, right?

Lubang jubur, yo.

Was de-stressing in the Music Room just now with Fatinn and Woan Chyi.

Played random songs from my iPod, and it seems like I say "I love this song" to almost every one that comes up. I really need to review my brain.

We came up with the most epic break-up scenario during dinner. Will definitely record it on video after the exams. It's pure awesome, man.

I suddenly feel very guilty about not studying.

Okay, I'll burn off the guilt later by staring at my notes late into the night.

Listening to Kings of Leon right now (latest album courtesy of Cyrus). Mmm.

So, first day of exams?

Don't want to talk about it. Don't want to think about it. All I'm hoping for now is a significant improvement on Monday and the days to come, though I highly doubt it. But that's what I'm striving for, and if that doesn't happen, you have the right to sue me (no, just kidding. We can settle things out of court).

Anyway, continuing with our retardedly funny direct translation of English phrases to Malay, I'll describe to you what happened this morning during our Malay paper 1.

I stared at the question paper, and thought to myself, "Tahi suci!" (Holy crap!). No idea how to do that. So I turned to the next page, and went, "Apa itu neraka?" (What the hell?), 'cause the questions weren't exactly ideal. In the end, I got through by writing total tahi kerbau (bullsh*t).

Yeah, that's a highly accurate rendition of my exam experience, to be honest with you.

Still don't want to talk about it.

Gotta go do some revision now.

Arrivederci.

P.S. Asshole directly translated is "lubang jubur". Are we not awesome?

Tidak faham.

Hey people, what's up?

I've been Twitter-ing in Malay all day, been using Malay on Facebook, so I figured, why stop there?

Saya sedang rehat sekejap setelah menghafalkan peribahasa untuk kertas-kertas Bahasa Melayu esok. Otak saya sangat letih.

Heck, that took a whole lot of effort. Half on hour, man. I am so doomed for tomorrow.

I'm hoping the English paper will be a total breath of fresh air right after the Malay papers. I have a feeling wracking my brains for the right Malay words (and ending up compromising with crappier, less impressive ones) will kill my poor brain cells completely.

I might go and do some Math later, after I flip through my Malay textbook to get the Malay juices flowing (not that they're not already flowing, what with harassing all my followers on Twitter with grammatically wrong Malay all day).

Okay, I should end this post now, before it gets too long with me ranting on and on about exams. It seems like the only things etched onto my mind are the words "exams", "study" and everything else exam-related.

This time next week is what I'm striving for. It'll be Music Room heaven, hopefully.

Adieu.

P.S. Sorry, but I'm too lazy to translate all the Malay back to English again. Besides, it makes all my Bruneian readers (and those who understand Malay) feel special and realise that learning Malay is a good thing, after all.

P.P.S. Online translators are completely unreliable, trust me.

Exceptions.

We're having this super heated debate over Facebook right now.

Long story short, we were having dinner when Fatinn decided to ask me whether it would suck to be dumped for another guy instead of another girl.

And I said, "No."

We're still arguing about it. It's me and Woan Chyi against Fatinn, Wardah, Syaf and Emily.

People should listen to me for a moment.

If a guy dumps you for another guy, it's definitely more okay than being dumped for another girl. Reason?
Simple: If you get dumped for another girl, you'd think, "What does she have that I don't?', and you feel like you're not good enough, or maybe you'd be extremely jealous for not being chosen over the other girl. But if you get dumped for another guy, case closed, 'cause you obviously know what he has that you don't (do NOT think sick). It's totally another league, and you'd feel okay with that, because there's nothing else you can do. And besides, if he decides that he likes guys, your relationship wouldn't have really worked out anyway.

Therefore, it is definitely more okay to be dumped for another guy than for another girl.

It's so logical, but why can't anyone else get it?

Anyway, spent my day at school pretending to study. Bleh. I don't we actually achieved much, except some assuring from Ms Li and Mrs Chong that if we know "blah blah" and "this formula" and "that rule" and "those exceptions" and how to "think logically", we'll be able to pass Physics and Chem.

But I dunno, man.

Doesn't feel like exams are coming.

I should be less relaxed. But then again, I don't want to be stressed.

My brain is severely confused at the moment.

Must be all the Chem and Physics I've been doing today.

Okay, better go back to memorising all the rules for salts and stuff like that.

It's got so many exceptions, they don't even seem like rules. For example, "Most hydroxide salts are only slightly soluble. Hydroxide salts of Group I elements are soluble. Hydroxide salts of Group II elements are slightly soluble. Hydroxide salts of transition metals and Al3+ are insoluble," and "Carbonates are frequently insoluble. Group II carbonates are insoluble," and "Most sulphate salts are soluble. Important exceptions to this rule include BaSO4, PbSO4, AgSO4 and SrSO4."

Oh God, help me.

Tripods.

I'm advertising for Apple today.
Left to right: Super old touch, MJ's awfully cute shuffle, brand new silver nano and Deborah's red nano.

I buy Apple products for two reasons: Firstly, 'cause it's convenient that way. Everything just syncs neatly together like some happy family.

Secondly, you just can't deny Apple products are cool. (Yes, I know that Apple likes to leech money off people, but come on, you just gotta admit they are severely cool.)

Had to stay back today for the final Year 6 assembly thing. Michelle dragged me into being on duty with her. Don't really mind, 'cause we got to play around with the equipment one last time before school officially ends.

Speaking of school ending, the exams are definitely coming up, and I'm definitely screwed.

I honestly need to get this over with. Studying is not fun.

The MS and SAS people started their EOY today, so good luck to them.

Ah, exam time.

Adios, amigos.

P.S. MouseHunt has seriously taken over our lives, man.

Humidity.

Gotta study gotta study gotta study gotta study gotta study.

Semangat, yo. I need semangat. Kalau nada, mati ku eh.

Anyway, I met up with my dad today (thanks to a convenient business trip).

One good thing about shopping with my dad is that he doesn't take absolutely ages to buy anything (like my mum does). Makes for pretty efficient shopping, that. My dad is awesome.

Got an iPod Nano as an advanced birthday present. He was like, "Anything new from Apple?" And I was like, "Yeah, the new Nano," and he went, "Okay, let's get you one."

I've been planning to get one for myself eventually, but heck, that was just epic. I love my dad.

Since I'm too lazy to type and I need to get back to staring at my notes, I'll just fill in the rest of the space with random pictures.

Woan Chyi trying to advertise Häagen-Dazs. We should definitely have ice cream in the middle of nowhere again.

I have no idea what I was trying to do here, but the point is that our candle decoration thing caught fire sometime during the dinner, and had to be taken away 'cause it was epic-ly giving off loads of smoke. Tsk tsk. Where was the fire alarm then? (Fire safety fail.)

And to cap it off, the "Boulevard of Broken Chairs". Jia Hong said she just had to be in the picture, so just to let you know, those are her fingers.

All right, I'mma go to bed now.

Night.

Year End Boarding Dinner 2009.

This post is going to be dated 25-10, but it's actually Saturday's.

Tonight was probably the craziest night I've ever had in my entire lifetime (so far).

I honestly still can't believe we weren't drunk. I used to think people did crazy things only 'cause they were intoxicated or something like that. Gosh, I was so wrong. Either that, or they must've put something in our food.

That was probably the high-est we've ever been. Imagine if we really were drunk.

In short, the year end boarding dinner was epic, man, EPIC. Especially the disco at the end. Who says nerds can't party?

Spent an entire afternoon in the hall hanging around with Ly En while waiting for people to ask us to do stuff for the concert dry run. Super jobless.

Then came the real thing. Since many people like to show up fashionably late, we started around fifteen minutes later than schedule.

Awesome performances by everyone. One good thing about being one of the first few up on stage is that you can sit back and relax and enjoy everyone else's performances. We received those massage stick things from Mini Toons as "tokens of appreciation". Super cute.

Had to sit at a different table than Fatinn, Wardah and Syaf, 'cause of the halal food thing, which kinda sucked. At least we were allowed to walk around and stuff. That was fun, seriously. Most of us basically acted like drunkards at a wedding (nah, just kidding). I was pretty sober though, thank God.

Heck.

I just realised something. We're going to have to do it all over again next year. I can't decide whether that's a good thing, or a bad thing. There is no way I want to wear another dress next time.

All right, the epic high-ness is wearing off.

Night.

P.S. I absolutely love my new hat.

P.P.S. "Just dance, gonna be okay." Lady Gaga, man.

P.P.P.S. There's nothing to be ashamed of living for dessert.

In the middle of nowhere.

Jean Todt has been elected the new President of the FIA, and I personally think that's pretty cool.

I'm hoping the dude'll bring about better changes to the seasons to come (which here mean more reasonable and more awesome in every way).

While I'm hoping, I also hope Kimi will hurry it up and sign a contract for next season, 'cause the suspense is killing me. I don't want his future in F1 to be suspended in limbo all uncertain like that.

Anyway, speaking of presidential elections, we voted for our new President of the 2010 Student Council this morning. I think people vote on the basis of a sense of humour and the ability to deliver an un-boring speech.

Had a pretty regular school day. Not much difference, 'cept that Cikgu didn't come, so we had Cikgu Isa take over for the day. I still love the dude. He's awesome.
We're still addicted to Facebook Tetris, and most of what the guys talk about is still MouseHunt, and exams are still coming up, so really, not much difference there.

Went out to Jurong Point after school with Fatinn, Emily and Syafiqah. Bought stuff for tomorrow, but I won't spare you the details till tomorrow, 'cause I like to build up suspense that way.

Met up with Woan Chyi for dinner at Pizza Hut. Yum.

Desperately needed ice cream (shopping wears me out BIG time, I'm not a born shopper), so we bought a pint of Häagen-Dazs Belgian chocolate ice cream and sat in the middle Jurong Point to eat it. Apparently somebody stumbled down the stairs 'cause he/she/it was staring at us too hard.

One good thing about living in another country where hardly anyone knows you is that you can do whatever you like and not have to care about what other people think. It's fun, seriously. Absolutely no way I'll ever do anything like that in Brunei, 'cause Bruneians tend to go, "Eh, anak si atu ah, kau tau apa ia buat arah blah blah?". Everyone knows almost everyone else 'cause we've got such a teeny population.

I'll definitely post pics tomorrow when the internet is less gay (actually it's always gay, but whatever).

Okay, gotta go shower now.

Catch ya tomorrow.

P.S. The moment of truth is tomorrow. I can not wear a dress in public.

Electrocution.

MJ JUST TOLD ME IT'S INTERNATIONAL CAPS LOCK DAY TODAY, SO I'LL BE TYPING THIS ENTIRE POST IN CAPS LOCK.

BUT CAPS LOCK IS ANNOYING, SO I MIGHT WAIT TILL PAST MIDNIGHT BEFORE I TYPE OUT THE REST.

Okay, whatever. I'm not patient enough to wait till that late, so let's just pretend I don't know a thing.

What is this "International Caps Lock Day" of which you speak?

It's still freakishly hot and humid. It really, really sucks.

Got our Physics test back today. Screwed up paper. Could've done so much better, but at least we pass, right?

Bleh.

Spent the entirety of study time down in the hall for the year-end dinner concert rehearsals. Was seriously stuffy in there. Don't like technical runs, but we've got no choice. It's either show up and know what's going on on Saturday or not show up and be utterly clueless.

Also, you can't really hear yourself on stage 'cause the speakers face outwards toward the audience, so all the dry runs are basically for people to tell you how you sound.

It's a bit unnerving, being unable to hear what you're doing, or the other people you're performing with.

All right, going to bed now.

Night.

Addicted.

Listening to 'Sweet Disposition' by The Temper Trap. It's terribly addictive.

Heard the intro in '(500) Days of Summer' and got hooked. Mmm.

Speaking of addictive, I can't seem to stop playing Tetris on Facebook. Bad idea, 'specially during the "omgexamsareinaweek" period.

At least I think I've managed to do some studying. That's definitely better than nothing, right? Even though it's a highly minimal amount.

I should really stop talking about exams. They're awfully depressing.

So let's do what people do when they've got nothing to talk about but are desperate to start a conversation: Discuss the weather.

All right, what's the deal? It's all warm and humid at night. Can't stand it.

It apparently rained early, early in the morning today. When we got to class, our side of the classroom had a huge puddle of water 'cause nobody shut the windows the day before. Whoops.

Everyone behind me got relocated, though I got to stay in my corner (I love my corner. It rocks). Goes to show not wanting to open your window is a smart move. And my table has to stay to support the teachers' table (which died a painful death yesterday), so no choice, really.
Our classroom is so dilapidated, it's depressing.

Played 'Taboo' during ACE. Fun.

Spent an hour outside the netball court with Aisyah, Faiz and Yos, 'cause Cikgu didn't come, and therefore no class. Aisyah didn't get any of her Lit. done (no surprise there, we're very good at time-wasting) though we got Faiz's help (the guy won't admit he's good at art, but he is).

Math was all revision. Thank God I haven't forgotten everything, like I thought I would.

Okay, time for more productive things.

Adieu.

P.S. Doesn't anybody else think grasshoppers are cute?

Dracula.

It's really humid right now, and I honestly can't stand it.

I miss Brunei. My 24/7 air-conditioned, Astro-ed, school-free haven.

Anyway, today was the day I finally accomplished a few things.

Long breaks are good for some things, after all (actually, I'm just sayin'. I like long breaks better than packed schedules).

Firstly, I overtook Ivy in MouseHunt. Ah, that feels good.

Secondly, I finished reading Dracula. The ending was rather disappointing, actually. Or maybe 'cause I didn't quite take the time to appreciate how epic everything was. I don't know. I mean, after all that dragging on and on near the end, you'd actually expect some dramatic ending, but no, it was rather mild. Maybe people from the nineteenth century weren't really into describing action scenes.

Once again, I dunno.

We had extra Chem today, to make up for yesterday's non-existent one. Chem quiz made me feel like a retard. Need to study, need to study, need to study.

Played handball during PE. It was kinda fail, but at least PE wasn't cancelled like the previous two weeks.

Question of the day: "Why aren't you PE-ing?"

Might turn in early tonight.

Adieu.

P.S. I love 'Strawberry Swing' by Coldplay. Mmmm...

Monday, October 19, 2009

Drums.

Just got back from Music Room A with Emily and Fatinn.

They've got a new drumset there. Yamaha with Zidjian crashes. Nice.

It's good to know how to chill once in a while.

Exams are coming, and I am absolutely doomed.

I need to study. Seriously. If not, I might as well shave my head bald.

I'll be as good as dead. So why aren't I doing anything? My body likes to contradict what my brain thinks. I'm slightly retarded that way.

On another note, I came to a realisation earlier on that I'm going to have to wear a dress.

Yes, you read that right. A dress.

A dress.

Oh my gee.

I'm in deep trouble, man.

People don't believe me when I tell them I'll look like Susan Boyle (no offense) in a dress. I just can't wear those things.

We're like, like charges. We repel. Dresses and I, we just don't go well together. It's a fact of life, that.

Definitely not looking forward to our year end dinner. Screw you, formal dress code.

Chem quiz tomorrow.

It's all sucky.

Going to bed now. Better wake up on time tomorrow.

Night, all.

P.S. I'm still behind Ivy in MouseHunt. Man, it sure is taking ages.

P.P.S. Dracula is taking me ages to finish. Hope I can do it by tonight, so I can get started on my final book review.

P.P.P.S. I should stop thinking about schoolwork so much. It's like I have no life.

P.P.P.P.S. Oh wait, school is my life. Or a huge part of it. Oh well.

P.P.P.P.P.S. Wow, this sure is some ridiculously long-winded postscript-ing.

Ridiculous.

Following the Brazilian GP on three different sites right now. Formula 1 live timing, Espnstar live race centre, and surprisingly, Twitter.

Follow a few F1-related people and there you have it, instant F1 news.

Things aren't looking very good for Ferrari at the moment. Kimi behind Hamilton. Not good at all. Our constructor's title going down the drain, I suppose. But let's be fair, shall we? Ferrari's been driving with only one (effective) driver (sorry, Fisi) since Massa got owned by Barichello's spring.

Bleh.

The internet connection is really, really annoying. Won't load anything. And if it does, it takes absolutely ages.

Hoping it'll be better tomorrow (or technically today, 'cause it's past midnight).

Anyway, the Brazilian GP is one of the most exciting races of the season. It's one of the "deciding" races. I'm kinda hoping for Button to win the Championship this time 'round, 'cause he really is a good driver, and may never have the opportunity again.

But on the other hand, Barichello has been racing for years, and he deserves a go at the Championship as well. Wow, I'm torn.

To be honest, I don't really mind who wins this year. Unlike last year. (Don't feel like talking about it at this hour of the day. It's depressing.)

Imagine how bad Massa must feel now. Not being able to race at his home race, one where he almost won the Championship last year. So close, yet so far. Must suck. Poor Massa. I wish I could give him a pat on the back.

And Kimi too. Read an interview with him this afternoon, and realised he got all emotional when he talked about leaving Ferrari too. So it's not only us who feel all upset about it.

Sure hope he gets to race next season.

News just in: Hamilton punctured Barichello's tyre overtaking him.

Ass just killed poor Barichello's hopes of winning the title. What on earth does he think he's doing? It's not his race to win. The spotlight isn't his this time round, why can't he understand that?

Oh gosh, I shouldn't blog while I follow F1 races.

Okay, better go now.

Mind's a mess.

Night.

P.S. Forza Ferrari, forever and more.

P.P.S. What do the words 'dictionary', 'ridiculous', 'addicted', and 'adik' have in common? Let's hope you don't know.

P.P.P.S. Button wins the Championship. Massa waves the chequered flag. Congratulations to Button and Brawn GP. Epic. New team wins Championship.

Polygamy.

Why is it only during the last few hours of Friday nights that I get high?

I think I might be going deaf. Constant exposure to loud noises. But you know what they say, sekali-sekala saja. No big deal.

Was messing around in one of the Music Rooms with Emily just now. Buang stress.

Nervous hands don't play well. Could've done so, so much better.

Speaking of "could've done so, so much better", this totally refers to Physics. Ran out of time and my brain died. Careless. Hate it. Screwed. No fun.

Change of subject. My Malay sucks. Really really bad. It's like, I've gotten from awful to absolutely atrocious. I feel like I've just thrown everything away. Seperti seumur hidup tidak pernah mempelajari Bahasa Melayu. Sad.

Going out to beraya again tomorrow.

I feel like I'm obliged to stay and study my ass off, but I dunno. I want to study, the urge kinda bugs me constantly, sulking away at the back of my mind and annoying like a bad rash.

Well this sure does suck. But anyone who's ever had any experience whatsoever with exams nowadays nows the usual drill. Fail at studying early, last-minute cram, manage to scrape through, repeat.

It's a ridiculous cycle we need to break out of.

On an entirely other note, I'm seriously catching up with Ivy in MouseHunt. If I do, I'm going to feel so accomplished.

All right, better go to bed now.

Dracula awaits. Mmm, vampires. Girls, this is the origin of your Edward Cullen and all those retarded-ly romantic vampire stories. This is the real deal, man.

Seriously going to bed now.

Night.

P.S. Quote of the day, "I'm a zombie. I died during the Physics test." -Cheryl

Thursday, October 15, 2009

More wasted time.

Do you want to know what's utterly ridiculous?

Going to school and having absolutely no classes.

No English 'cause no teacher, and no Physics 'cause no teacher as well.

There was this terrible uproar when they said the Physics test got postponed. We studied for that thing, man, and now we've got to do it all over again for tomorrow.

It's like we all got ripped off in some way. I was totally prepared for that test, I swear. I'm so terribly sick of flipping through the notes I honestly don't feel like doing it now.

I seriously think all the Physics is having a weird effect on my brain.

Wasted away our time by Guess The Sketch-ing.

We've got this Math assessment thing on problem solving tomorrow. No fun.

The internet connection really lags at the moment. Super annoying. Takes probably half a year to load one page (okay, I exaggerate).

Better go study now.

Or something like that.

Adieu.

P.S. I still haven't finished Dracula.

P.P.S. Quote, "THIS IS NOT A BLOODY MARKET!" Epic-est thing today.

P.P.P.S. I'm catching up with Ivy on MouseHunt. Whee.

Wednesday, October 14, 2009

Bencana alam.

It's Fatinn's birthday today.

Had a mini-celebration at the track just now.

We've got a Physics test tomorrow, and (fingers crossed) I really really hope I don't screw up.

It'll be nice if I pass. Or something like that.

Static electricity is like, common sense, right? Stuff like how to zap people and how to get balloons to stick to walls.
Then the circuit stuff is good as long as you know all that P=IV and V=IR talk.

You know why there are so many formulas for power?
'Cause when you say P=RI^2, or that P=V^2/R, you don't make IV the definition of power.

Anyway, circuits and formulas (and common sense) aside, it finally rained today.

I love rainy days.

Malay was weird. Went from "write a dialogue" to "awkward discussion on the safety of Singapore featuring Mat Salamat".

Math was on more problem solving. Had to solve something about this boy in a swimming pool. Dumb question. Nobody purposely looks for problems for themselves, right?

Spent an afternoon talking about Physics with Debb, MJ and Zhen Jie in the canteen. Oh heck, all my brain can think of is Physics. There has got to be something wrong with me, definitely.

Okay, back to notes now.

Or maybe Dracula.

Dracula after notes.

Adieu.

P.S. Can you taser a vampire?

Tuesday, October 13, 2009

Wasted time got wasted.

Hey, guess what?

It's been more than two weeks, and I still haven't finished reading Dracula. Man, that's so pathetic. I'm like, taking my own sweet time here, no matter how terribly curious I am. Does Mina die? I don't know. I want to know, but I dunno...

Okay, whatever.

Today's a Tuesday, or "super-long-break-stupidly-jobless-boring-nothingtodo-day", as we've come to know it.

I think everyone was dying during Math. First thing in the morning, man.

The three hours in between Math and English were taken up by eating, Physics, and more Physics.

Read an excerpt from a book on the elephant man (Joseph Merrick, the poor lad) for English.

It's awfully depressing, you know. It's like, how could anyone bear to live like that? Imagine the hell he must've gone through when he was alive. He must've felt awful.

And to think the life of a human-being could be reduced to that of worse than an animal just 'cause he had a disease nobody could cure. It wasn't his fault. It's so unfair. He had the right to live like a normal dude too, right?

Nobody should complain, because somewhere out there, someone has it worse than you. Unless, of course, you're that terribly unfortunate person who has it worse than everybody else (which is one in trillions).

Anyway, after English, we wasted away time by lunching and guitar-ing.

And then, since we didn't want to waste our wasted time away by not doing what we wasted our time for, Cheryl and I decided to show up for PE (which got cancelled 'cause of a lightning warning).

Time got wasted anyway.

All right, need to go study Physics now.

Or read Dracula.

I'll go with Physics.

Night.

P.S. Do I sound like a nerd choosing electrical circuits over vampires?

Monday, October 12, 2009

Epic-est sentence EVAR.

Was too tired to post yesterday, so here we go.

Raya-ing yesterday was awesome. Walked, MRT-ed, bus-ed, ate, salam-ed, and basically Raya-ed all day. Six houses, man.

Super, super full by the time we got back. (If you wish to stalk, pics are on Facebook.)

Could've died during Chem today. Felt more retarded than usual, 'cause I couldn't remember anything. Need to study.

Craptalked during Malay, 'cause we were supposed to practice our oral.

Saved English for last, although it was the first thing in the morning. Learnt about prepositions and stuff, and then made this super epic sentence.

"Mary, of Siberian ancestry in her pretty pink dress with a hat full of Gandhi’s hair made in India on the head, hurried away on Bus 16 with licence plate SBS 2818X to the toilet with a full bladder in the park full of flowers in Orchard Road to meet the little lamb with three legs from Mars on the toilet bowl on the ceiling made in China in the cubicle full of filth on 31st November at twelve midnight in the year 2010, before World War Three, to dance to Nobody by Wonderlambs in the Remix version in the moonlight while moonwalking with mosquitoes on a unicycle before going to the butcher on a big fat cow on four legs with chickenpox from an elephant from Iraq in Pulau Tekong during Hungry Ghost Festival of the Mayan culture for a barbecue."

I'd love to see MS word try to fix that huge grammatical error.

143 words, man. It's like the definition of epic. We are oh-some (and make no sense).

Speaking of oh-some, I've got a Physics test on Thursday. That's no fun.

Okay, gotta go do other things now.

Adieu.

P.S. I hope it rains tomorrow. I love rainy days.

P.P.S. It was 11-10-09 yesterday. Cool.

Dessert.

I'm listening to The Resistance right now. Finally bought it this afternoon.

I've got 'Resistance' stuck in my head. It's so good, man, so good.

Went to Shangri-La for lunch for our cluster outing. Pure pure awesome.

I'm trying to upload pics, but the internet connection is lagging really badly right now.

All right, three rounds of Guess The Sketch later, finally. Here we go.

Got there near noon, and was super hungry by then. The smell of food to hungry people is terribly enticing, honestly.

Saw this when we went in, and wanted to skip lunch and go straight to dessert, but decided against it.
Mmm. Yum.

Ate for like, two hours. Was stuffed beyond stuffed. The food there is seriously good, man. So much to choose from, so little stomach space and digestive juices. Man, nobody should ever bring me to a buffet. It'll be a total waste 'cause I can't eat so much.

Then played around with the chocolate from the chocolate fountain. Fun.
The chocolate is right, people.
Yeah, the chocolate is still right, I have to admit.

After eating, the six of us (Pacahh plus Woan Chyi) watched (500) Days of Summer.

It was nice.

All right, better go to bed now.

Night.

P.S. I'm not married.

Chicken.

Playing Guess The Sketch with MJ and Cheryl.

It's no fun with a few people.

Been really dull tonight. Nothing fun going on. Been sitting at my laptop for a few hours now, and it's still all boring.

In fact, almost my entire day (from probably ten onwards) was pretty boring.

Malay wasn't exactly boring, 'cause we presented our crappy beyond crappy and lame beyond lame skit about a poor dude who dies during a Raya gathering after vomiting blood.
Faiz can act girlier than I can, which is pretty funny. Laughed uncontrollably through the whole thing, 'cause it was so completely ridiculous.
Wasted more than half an hour "practicing", which probably consisted of us adding dumber, unnecessary scenes and basically crap-talking and getting nothing done.

Endured four hours of nothingness till CCA. Spent it reading Dracula, playing Solitaire, Minesweeper, and MouseHunting.

Speaking of which, I think this MouseHunt thing is getting a bit out of hand.

Why on earth is it so addictive?

More than half of the people in the computer lab were talking about "sounding the horn", and stuff like that.

We lead sad lives, but that's okay.

Played our videos during CCA. Ours was probably the only one with a story line, 'cause one group just tossed in a TMNT song from last sem into raw footage, another put theirs together in half an hour, and the other one I have absolutely no idea.

Had our group photo taken (which was kinda funny, 'cause the photography people were the ones who went around taking the other CCAs).

Okay, back to Guess The Sketch now.

Adieu.

P.S. I'm not a guy. Nor am I "sexually confused".

P.P.S. It's okay to be single. All your life. ...Wow, I guess that does sound pretty sad.

When T is high, R is low.

Talking like pirates with Cheryl on MSN now.

"Hey."
"Arrr, matey."
"Ahoy, mate!"
"Done English?"
"Aye, matey."
"Well what ye be scribblin abou'"?
"Audi and mac lab, matey."
"Be it really 150 max?"
"I believe ye don't have to be walkin' the plank if ye do, matey. Thar cap'n be turnin' a blind eye if ye do."

So as you can see, I've done my English descriptive paragraphs, and we are really lame people who like to talk like pirates. I sure hope nobody notices my exceeded word limit.

Why don't people talk like pirates in real life anymore? It's awesome (albeit slightly retarded and pointless).

Anyway, we made Ms Li emo during Physics today, 'cause we weren't really paying attention. (Nah, she's cool, I think.)

Assignment 10 is probably the weirdest assignment ever. Instead of just saying "the jockey is moved from A to B", they could've just said "the length of the wire measured by the voltmeter is increased". Thought the thing was a rheostat, but it wasn't.

At least we're finally done with our "DC circuit" notes.

Keeping a low profile actually works, you know. Cheryl and I tried it out when Ms Li was writing down names for people to write their answers on the board (covered our faces with paper and stayed real quiet) and she didn't call us at all. Cool.

My practical was an epic fail, seriously.

Went back after lunch, 'cause I don't take Food Science.

Spent an hour and a half reading Dracula. Progressed a hundred pages or so. It's good, seriously. It's like Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, except less ridiculous, more serious in tone, scarier, less gruesome, with blood-sucking vampires rather than brain-eating zombies, less retarded and a whole lot more epic.

Nineteenth century English rocks, man. It's so tedious, it's actually cool.

All right, gotta go now.

Night.

P.S. Seriously should've written about the toilets for English. I'd have done something like 'I stepped in, and the lights flickered on instantly. "OMGWTF," I thought, "How did it know I was here??"'. Motion sensors, man.

Life is a gamble.

It's my brother's birthday today.

And I'm missing it. Which basically means two things. One, I don't get to have birthday cake (which is probably what birthdays in Brunei are all about), and two, I don't need to get him a present this year.

Anyway, if anyone wondered, I didn't post yesterday because there really wasn't much to talk about and my brain kinda died after doing our Math assignment.
Stayed in school for eight hours for only one hour of class, which was Math (which ended at nine). No English 'cause no teacher, and PE got cancelled 'cause of the rain. I love rain.

ACE today. It's saddening how many of us aren't even able to spare a few minutes to talk to our parents. A simple "Hey, what's up?" is good, too (I do that to my dad, and he's all "What's up? I don't know. What is up?" back at me).

Parents are people too. They were probably cooler, more popular and smarter than we were when they were our age (though I kinda doubt it, no offense).

I think if I have kids, I'd want them to remember how awesome I was *cough cough* when I was younger. I wouldn't want everything I do now to be forgotten forever, 'cause when people die, their memories die with them.

I love it when my grandmother tells me stories of her childhood, 'cause they're actually quite entertaining, and you can tell it makes her happy. Brings back memories. It'd be an awful shame if everything were lost just like that.
Who else would ever bother to remember stories of her and her grandparents, or know about the time she dug up a skull in her backyard?

Okay, change of subject.

Cikgu didn't come today, so we wasted all our time hanging around the netball court. Attempted to busk with Isaac's guitar, but failed terribly.
One day I'm going to see if you really can earn money by street busking.

Got our Math test back. Was definitely much better than test 1. Managed to pass.

All right, gotta go and do that Physics assignment/comprehension thing now.

Adieu.

P.S. I wanted to do a postscript, but I couldn't think of anything to write so- oh wait. Never mind.

The day I woke up late.

Listening to 'In The Morning' by Razorlight. It's such an upbeat song, I absolutely adore it.

Anyway, I'mma label today "The Day I Woke Up Late".

'Cause that's what happened (besides the obvious).

It was seriously epic, man. My biological clock is screwed, I think. Maybe still in weekend mode.

Woke up at like, half past seven. Syaf overslept as well, which was kinda what made it so epic.

Thank God the both of us weren't too late (got there when they were singing the national anthem).

Epic as it was, remind me to never, ever do that again. Honestly. Not good.

I think our Monday practically flew past.

English was about factual descriptions. Nothing of much interest there.

Wasted an entire hour in Malay talking about balls (don't ask) and trying to make up stuff for our skit (yeahp, another one). Ahmad dances the most awesome dance ever.

Chem was all practical stuff. Showed up a bit late for class 'cause the entire class seemed to had have miraculously moved to the lab before we (people who take Malay) could. Did we really end that late? I don't think so.

Then spent History talking about Singapore's path to independence.

I need to start managing my time better. It just flies past. There I am, minding my own business, and then I'm like, "Whoa" and it's already half past eleven.

Bleh.

Got to go read Dracula now. Nice bed time story.

Adieu.

P.S. When you catch an Elven Princess mouse on MouseHunt, it doesn't necessarily mean you caught "a yawen".

"I know you want meh." -Nick & Wardah

Just ended a phone call with my mother.

Went pretty much like this:

"Okay, bye, I love you."
"Love you too, mum."
"Remember to study, okay?"
"Yes, mum."
"Your exams are just around the corner, you know?"
"Yes, mum."
"Start studying when you have the time, okay?"
"Yes, mum."
"Am I putting pressure on you?"
"Yes, mum."
"What?"
"I mean, uh, no mum. I'll remember to study. In fact, I'll go and study now."
"You're lying."
"Yes- I mean, no, mum. I'm going to *cough* study* cough."
"Hahah very funny."
"No seriously, I *cough* am."
"Okay, whatever, good night, love you."
"Love you too, bye."

Oh God, my life is screwed.

Exams exams exams. I hate exams. I feel like I've wasted my entire life preparing for exams, sitting for them, being glad that they're over and preparing for exams all over again. This isn't ever going to end, is it?
It's like the sole purpose of my existence is to go to school and sit for exams.

That's not cool, man. I repeat: Not. Cool.

Anyway, depressing matters aside, we went raya-ing again today, to auntie Ramlah's house. Her soto is good. Yum.

Indonesians from the hostel can now go back to Indonesia and say, "You know what? Bruneians are so lame."

Well, what to do?

Oh, and do you want to know why many Bruneians understand bahasa Indonesia? It's because we watch too many Indonesian drama series.

And it's also cool that Bruneians can understand other Malay slangs more than other nationalities understand bahasa Brunei. I wonder why.

Anyway, I haven't really finished my Chem assignment, and I need to read Dracula, and I need to go and shower, so adios amigos.

Till next time.

P.S. I love my mum, really.

Jaywalkin'.

Remind me to stop writing overdue posts in the mornings.

Was super full last night.

It's a classic raya-ing scenario. Go to a house, salam-salaman, eat, duduk-duduk, eat some more, leave, repeat.

Went to three houses yesterday, the first one Ms Shah's, and the other two Bruneians'.

Yeah, it was siuk.

-We interrupt this blog post to bring you breaking news: I don't know how to do my Chem assignment and this sucks. Okay, news flash over-

Managed to eat tapak kuda. We finished it off in like, thirty seconds. That shows just how deprived us Bruneians are. Or greedy. I can't decide.

Going out later on to auntie Ramlah's house.

But first I need to finish my Chem. I've got around half a question left, and I have no idea how to answer.

That, or my just-woken-up mind is too lazy to think harder.

Oh, whatever.

Suzuka is on later.

McLaren is catching up with Ferrari, and that is definitely not good.

I hope Vettel wins. He deserves to.

Better than Hamilton. His ego might double in size.

All right, better end now.

I'm running out of things to say, anyway.

Arrivederci.

Hey, would you look at that? I survived.

About yesterday, nothing of much significance happened, and I don't really want to bore anybody.
Managed to waste away an hour or two with Isaac's guitar while waiting for CCA, which was pretty fun.
Did absolutely nothing during during CCA, 'cept re-watch our videos. The photography group kinda disappeared, and the video people had nothing whatsoever to do. Left an hour later, 'cause there really was no point in staying.
Then had mooncake with the cluster.

Yeah, that's pretty much it.

MouseHunt addicts.

It's a very English-y day today (besides it being the first day of October '09).

Spent my evening writing the CCA brochure thing, then printed it along with a few other things (all for English) before roll call. Then skimmed through Wardah and Fatinn's English speech thing.

School was spent doing a weird comprehension during English and then trying to spot grammatical flaws and typos in our Physics notes during Physics.

Free periods were spent 'Guess The Sketch'-ing, which meant more English 'cause it was a half-vocabulary half-drawing skills thing.

Spent my afternoon reading F1 articles and Dracula (more English), filing my Math file (seem to have lost two class exercises, but I dunno, it's confusing), and listening to Green Day's '21st Century Breakdown' (courtesy of Cyrus). I haven't had time to re-listen to it, but this album seems much messier than 'American Idiot'. 'American Idiot' still owns.

And now I'm typing out this blog post, which is obviously in English.

So there you have it, my very English-y day.

Honestly, I don't think I think very straight at this hour of the day. My brain must be exhausted, what with all the circuit and electricity stuff Ms Li was trying to drill us with this morning.

Ah, the delightfulness of Physics.

It's actually quite tolerable. Oh God, I might be turning into some kind of nerd. Oh wait, I already am.

Now I've got to go read Dracula before bed. It's still pretty awesome. And the scariness has started to kick in. Hate horror movies, but books are all right. I think.

I might do the twenty quotes thing for Dracula. ("1. I'm going to suck your blood. 2. I'm going to suck some more blood. 3. Blood is goood. 4. Yum. 5. Please don't suck my blood. 6. Oh yes I am. 7. I'm so scared! 8. Fear me! 9. Noooo..! 10. Muahahaha!" and so on and so on.) Who knows.

Okay, seriously gotta go now.

Night.

P.S. Oh, and Happy Children's Day. (Apparently I'm too old for that, but whatever, man.)

Alonso-Massa?

Okay, right before my regular post, I'll do the promised F1-related one.

So. Yeah. About F1.

I guess what everyone's been talking about is Alonso's move to Ferrari, which, to be honest, didn't really come as a huge surprise to me. People have been talking about Alonso-Ferrari ties for seasons, but it still feels really weird to have it come true.

Been holding on to that little bit of hope that there's a chance he'll never end up with them, but you know, you see the words "Alonso signs contract with Ferrari" and it completely disappears.

Some people say it'll be a good thing, actually. Him being all competitive as a talented driver in one of the best teams there is.

So after thinking about it for a long, long time, I've finally decided that maybe some change will bring good to Ferrari. Or maybe not. We'll see.

As for the person he's replacing, though, I'll always support him. I mean, I've been supporting this guy ever since I remember watching F1 (around eight or nine, I think), back in the days when I thought Michael Schumacher was the awesomest driver to no end.

Kimi's always been the coolest guy on track. I don't see how it's going to change when he moves back to McLaren. Though I seriously do not want to see him pair up with Hamilton.

But who knows? Maybe the Iceman will kick some Lewis ass. Now that would be sweet.

If McLaren put Kimi in a crappy car like they treated poor Heikki, I'll personally fly over to their headquarters and 'cause a riot or something.

Next year's lineup is yet to be confirmed, but I'm seriously glad Massa's staying on in Ferrari.

Good thing the dude's making a fast recovery.

Anyway, Stel, for your viewing pleasure, our view of the track from Rania's mum's office building. For free.

And yeah, I was that close to the cars. Freakin' awesome.

Okay, I've got to go and write the regular post now.

Forza Ferrari.
