A picture says a thousand words.

Pic is of my mum's friend's Chihuahua, my brother, and his new girlfriend (funny story, really).
If you think it's cute, please raise your hand because I think you guys have forgotten about my tagboard.

So far, I've read only Science, and two-thirds of Geo.
I know I'm doomed.

Actually, I don't have to sit for PMB 'cause of the S'pore thing, but I'm being nice (and I don't want to feel like I've wasted the whole year doing revision and not actually sit for PMB).

If tomorrow was Raya, I'd write about it, but it's not. So instead, I'll stay up with my monkey and watch House on AXN. Wheee. I love House.

Oh well.

My uncle came back yesterday and I waited for him till past midnight so I could unlock the door. He was talking about how he didn't understand a thing and how he spent so much money and didn't know how much.
Argh.
I told him it must've been a great experience, spending so much money to watch a sport he has never watched before. He stayed at the same hotel as the Ferrari team. Can you imagine that? I feel all queasy just being in the same country as them, nevertheless the same building.
The luck of some people.
And he laughed it all off.

At least I got a new cap. Forza Ferrari, forever and more.

P.S. Pit crew guy, don't cry. It's okay. It wasn't entirely your fault Ferrari doesn't want to go with the lollipops.

Off-topic.

ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

These aren't the pic I want to upload, but I found them on some forum somewhere.

XD

Still Loving You

"Your images are being uploaded to blogger."

I know that! I'm running out of time. I need to read Geo and yet... I'm here.

I'll post it when it's done.

Kid's birthday parties. I'm too old to attend but there's still cake.

Decisions, decisions.

Geo is boring. Maybe I should read something else..?

Bananas and brownies.

I'm now browsing the Swatch website, looking for a cool watch. Not that I don't have enough watches at home (too many, in my opinion). It's just that the watch I'm staying faithful to now has a few battery problems: it's flat.

My dad's too lazy to go and get it fixed for me, and I don't own a car and can't (both legally and skill-wise) drive one even if I do. I feel like my other watches are too pretty, new and shiny to become as used and scratched as the one I'm using now, so I guess it's my problem.

I watched the first Singtel Singapore Grand Prix night race qualifying session (and whatever crap you got in its all-so-special name) last night all alone (with my monkey) because it was delayed to midnight (due to football). I watch The Amazing Race Asia alone as well... I feel sad. Stupid night-time screenings. My family have to be in bed by nine, except probably my grandmother (who watches Martin Yan on TV till ten on normal days).

*pouts momentarily*

At least, you know, my monkey doesn't constantly nag at me and make me go and study.

Back to the qualifying. Massa deserves the Championship, to be honest. I promise I won't be disappointed if Kimi doesn't win.

My uncle sent me a text message yesterday.
"Formula BMW is on (whatever that is) and I can see 75% of the track from my room on the 52nd floor of the hotel. Cool eh?"

I so envy him. He never watches racing, but when we question his sudden interest in motor sport, he doesn't answer or merely shrugs it off.
*sigh* Some people.

I'm skipping tuition so I can watch this historic event. Live. On TV. Probably with my monkey. Alone. Again.

A funny thing about the track is that when the commentator (Steve Slater, if my memory doesn't fail me) mentioned that "this is the fastest part of the track", the asphalt surface had big white letters saying "SLOW" because it was part of the public highway.
Talk about irony.

Now I must go and cram till my brains ooze out like chocolate pudding.

Mmmmmm....Chocolate pudding.

Not that I'm going to eat my brains, of course.

Adieu.

Desperation leads to strange acts.

She bangs, she bangs...

William Hung.
Does nobody think of Ricky Martin when they hear this? Hmm.

Two words: Must study.

I must stop wasting time.

Time is gold.
Masa itu emas.

Cram, cram, cram.
Read and memorise everything
Whee.

Overload time.

I like.

S'pore is gearing up.

I'll leave another post for pictures. This one is reserved for text.

And a lot of text there is.

Day 1-
Dragged myself out of bed at half past five (like normal school days, so I guess it wasn't a big deal) to catch an eight in the morning RBA flight to Singapore.
Got all that sorted, had some Royal Brunei Catering breakfast and arrived at Changi Airport quite early. The whole process from airport to hotel to hotel room was uninteresting, though I got a glimpse of the Singapore F1 circuit. It's pure awesome.

There were just three of us. Me, my mum, and my mum's sister. They shopped, I dropped. I swear, I couldn't feel my legs after Chinatown.
And yet my mum still had the energy to climb up an escalator in order to feed her iron will to shop, shop, and shop some more. Come on, then what was the whole point of using an escalator in the first place?

Day 2-
One thing I like about Singapore is that almost all of their publics toilets actually have toilet paper. Unlike Brunei. And the toilets are relatively cleaner. Oh, much, much cleaner.
After we bought many things and looked at many, many goods on display for sale, we finally did something I wanted to do: visit Kinokuniya.
I bought Brisingr, the much awaited third book of the Inheritance Cycle (you didn't have to read that, honestly, I was just being geeky). Also, I added to my collection Autobiography of a One Year Old (extremely funny, aimed at people who write their autobiographies at too early an age e.g. Lewis Hamilton) and two other books probably worth mentioning but at a time later than this.
God, I so need to read Brisingr, but it's real thick and I have more important things to read (not that Brisingr isn't important, Mr Paolini) such as warning signs, textbooks, and notes.

Later that night, some long-winded woman wearing treble clefs as earrings sells us various Manuka Honey products. Uh... That's all I remember. And that we ate at some Chinese restaurant and I avoided pork.

Day 3- We spent most of the morning packing, shopping (see? You can't stop these shopaholics), then rushing back to the hotel to pack some more before we had to check out at noon.
Then visited Toys R Us.
And walked past the place where Kimi was scheduled to visit later that night... Damn it. I can only swear. I was just a few hours from meeting him in person. Oh, screw it. Just win, Iceman, kay? If you can't, help Massa win the Championship this year, 'cause he helped you out last year and you know that.

Forza Ferrari.

May Singapore's night race work out well.

I hope none of the drivers have astigmatism.

"Cow-culator?"

Since McLaren have so many sponsors...

I want to touch it, even though I'm a Ferrari fan.

I want to burst that tyre.

Hugo Boss loves Lewis Hamilton, yet screwed up so many things when he visited a few days ago. Can you believe it, the whole street was flooded with these... things of him?

But this made up for it. There were plenty of Kimi's pictures too, 'cause he's a Tag Heuer person (since he drove for McLaren and they have so many sponsors...) Ah.

I wish Brunei had recycle bins with Elmo and the Cookie Monster on 'em.

Five by five, anyone? I bought two yo-yos instead.

I swear, I did not do this. It was already broken when I got to it.

Oh, and 'cause I couldn't kidnap a monkey from any of Singapore's zoos, I bought one instead. I love my monkey.

Isaac = Cute!

I have chosen the coffee-coloured whatever can't remember the name string.

Meh.

I'm gong to S'pore tomorrow on holiday. Rest and relaxation (probably the last I'll ever get) before PMB starts. 25 days.

I need to go pack.

But you know, just to let you know, in case you thought I decided to stop blogging or something.

Oh no, I'd never do that.

It's just three days.

You guys can cope with that, right?

I know it's boring.

Raya is coming, holidays are filled with textbooks. Like, what's the point of holidays at this point? Oh yeah, I forgot about the other people who don't have a big public exam coming up.

Lucky them.

And those SPN21 guys. They'll never have to go through the terror we call PMB.

Education system is so unfair.

Sucks.

See you in three days.

Strings.

Screw junk mail.

Oh screw, I just remembered the History pink PMB book! And I thought I was free from homework (and pink books) when I finished my Science.

My guitar strings need changing. Again. I just changed them a week ago. And guess what happened? I was sitting here at my computer yesterday and my D string went SNAP. God. Why? Why do you do this to me?

At least I know how to change my strings by myself now, so I guess it's not a big deal.

I guess.

It's going to be a long night. I better start now, if I want to be finished by bedtime.

I know, holiday posts are always a bit dull.

Believe it or not, school brightens up my life slightly. Even though we get loads of homework and stuff.

I miss you guys.

Sincerely,
me.

Edit: I've decided to put off the string-changing till tomorrow. I'm sleepy, and I can't decide whether to use the standard G or the coffee-coloured one (I can't remember the fancy name).

Life is full of decisions.

Would you rather make your own, or have people decide for you?

If people decide for you, you don't have to think of worry that much (says the indecisive person).

If you make your own decisions, you get the freedom of doing what you want but not necessarily make the right decision.

*sigh*

CJ7

It seems that news of my departure has spread.

So, yeah.

So I may be leaving (in like, four months). But it's no big deal, honestly. At least I'm still alive, right? Right?

Don't cry.
Crying is for...people like Cikgu Fatimah. Don't be emotional over little things. No use. Be happy.

I still want to watch 'Money Not Enough 2', but the opportunity is growing slimmer by the second. My parents are so lazy.

"Dad, let's watch a movie!"
"Eh... I want to sleep."
"Mum?"
"Ask your dad."

Oh, by the way, does this layout look cooler or what?

Did anyone notice that yesterday's temperature was exceptionally chilly? Chili. Chilly. Chile.

Right. Spontaneous English Lesson.

Chilly (adjective) - Cold.

Chili (noun) - The stuff they give you in little packets at any fast food restaurant.

Chile (noun) - A country.

Adieu.

Weird.

I was watching smosh with my dad when my mum came and asked us to get ready for this wedding we had to attend.

Orchid Garden + sungkai buffet -> an extremely packed lobby.

(You see, 'cher? I did do my Science.)

I'm taking a break from the pink book of doom (I call it that because the binding coil thing keeps giving me scratches everywhere) 'cause I'm not sure whether the pressure of Gas X is "150 mm" or "150 mm + atmospheric pressure".

I skipped school today. Which does not mean I hopped about like a little kid or played with a skipping rope at school. I means I didn't attend class. Not that we had class today. Majlis Khatam, anyone?

I'm sorry I didn't go, Myra. Hahah. Oh, by the way, happy holidays to all of you school folk.
Have fun studying.

So, urm, I digress. Back to the wedding.

Once the first dish (something called "Five Golden Chinese something something") was served, the first performer was announced and she sang really, really loudly. If I went deaf, I'd call my lawyer.
The wedding was just transformed into a karaoke contest for old/middle aged people, my uncle included.
At least he could actually sing well. (No, I am not biased here.)
And then my mum's cousin took to the stage. He said, "The bride and groom are my brother's brother's brother's oh I can't remember I'm drunk."
He sure was drunk, 'cause he started tossing the microphone up in the air.
You see, kids? Alcohol is not good for you. That's why we learn this topic in Science. I think.

So we're "related" to both the bride and the groom.
The bride is my mum's mother's brother's son's daughter and the groom is my mum's father's sworn brother's son's son (?). Something like that.

Aaand...thenwehadtoleaveearlycausemybrotherwasmisbehavingrealbadandwasrunningaroundtheplace.

I wanted to eat the fish.

I love the fish.

Meh.

Going to continue my Science.

Smosh.

Before I write about anything else, I want to congratulate a few people.

Firstly, I want to congratulate Sebastian Vettel for becoming the youngest driver to ever win a Formula One Grand Prix, for winning the Italian Grand Prix, and for being pure awesome.
I also extend my congratulations to Toro Rosso for winning their first race like, ever.

You guys rock! *two thumbs up*

At least if was something that would satisfy the Tifosi (Italian fans) 'cause Toro Rosso is an Italian team, and you know.

BREAKING NEWS: 'Cher Yati smiled and I think even laughed when Steph asked her a question about ratios. Hmm.

'Neway, last day of third term for many people today. Even 'cher Masnur didn't bother to come. I doubt I'll go to school tomorrow.
Today's sembahyang hajat wasn't exactly entertaining, if you ask me.

BROKEN NEWS: We were in room A317 when Cikgu Haiseh came and asked us what we were doing. She couldn't even tell if I was non-Muslim or not. Sigh. So she asked us to go to the Audi, and then smiled. Oh God. That's so weird. I rarely see her smile.

I wish teachers would confirm everything beforehand.
Sometimes what they tell us contradicts what other teachers tell us.
And then they ask us to sort things out for ourselves.
And later scold us when things don't work out.

These people are weird.

By the way, yesterday was Moon Cake Festival day. Jade Rabbit rules!

I'm out.

Mm.

First things first, I need to welcome my friend Stella to the world of (pointless) blogging. Hello, fellow Kimi supporter.

Now... Who wants another epic post about school? *crickets chirp, tumbleweed rolls past*

Right. So (here I am completely ignoring unenthusiastic silence), we started off with the National Anthem... I whistled along while Syaz tried to make Qilah sing. You know, by 7.20 in the morning, the class looked like it was 6.50 a.m on a non-Ramadhan school morning (which means here less than half the class present). But everyone was in class ten minutes later before 'cher Stella walked in for a pretty dull Commerce class (we did petty cash books... Urgh). Pretty amazing, isn't it, how so many people come much later than usual after waking up for sahur? Hm. Meh.

After that, came IRK, then English which was equally dull and boring. No, wait, IRK's waaay better.

After Ms Anne left, I went down for Science with Wani and Zakie. I miss the gang. Puasa equals to shorter break time equals to not getting the chance to meet them. And then, yo, the best bit, 'cher Masnur was there outside Science Lab 3 (I don't know why we changed labs today) and she was holding blue sheets of paper!

Well yeah, I know, blue sheets of paper aren't that amazing and awesome, but at least they were a change from all the pink we get in this school.

So guess what, the papers were our final report sheets. Mmm. I beat Fazrul ( =) ). And urm... My BM stinks big time.

Then we had Science (like duhh). It wasn't brilliant, but at least we had air-conditioning and a nice, caring teacher.

It's okay to be late for History, right?

Since I never did any standardised MOCK paper, I didn't have one to mark during History. Yay.

And so... concludes my epic tale of how boring school was.

P.S. Our MIB house is almost finished. We've just got this gaping gap in our roof.

Friday, September 12, 2008

Um... Shark?

Check out this new baby. And it's MINE! (I think...)

The bit of orange at the bottom, it's the flash. It's actually red all over. My dad decided to buy one 'cause he was in one of his really weird let's-buy-something-expensive-but-not-really-a-necessity moods. Not that I'm insulting them. Oh no, they're good. All good.

Ah. Tuition in a few minutes.

I'm going to watch smosh.

See ya peeps.

Major boredom.

Can you believe it? (You better.)
Five pages into my Commerce notes and I feel like the Sandman is trying desperately to get me to sleep.
But no, I will not fall asleep. Instead, I will come here to waste time and later kill myself for it.

Just for the sake of being completely random: I like to take pictures of cake.

I feel like... I need to do something, but I don't know what.

Urm...

I'll get back to you later if I figure it out.

Today, we did stuff.

Then played Uno and 'Heart attack'.

Whee.

How boring can it possibly get?
I'm sure there's a limit, where something can't be any more boring anymore.
Can anyone really die of boredom?
Who knows?

We Chinese learn from our mistakes. Instead of being so awfully bored like last week, us people brought stuff to do, like play games and cards.

What else can you do with a set of Uno cards?

We should bring gambling cards next time and play Blackjack.
With no money, of course, because that would be gambling and gambling isn't uh... good.
Not that the teachers would care anyway. The non-Muslim teachers, I mean. They pretty much don't care about what we do there. How cool is that?
Way cool.

'Cher Yati seems to think nobody can ever skip school because of health problems. Every time someone's absent, she goes all skeptical and says they're just afraid of her tests.

I don't know, really. She may be right sometimes, but I honestly don't think it's a nice thing to do. (Ms Anne don't kill me please for using a banned word.)

Oh well.

Gotta go.

10-09-08

Quick, quick! Let's see if I can do a post in less than five minutes!

School was boring, got my subject form back from our replacement form teacher 'cause my mum wants me to take POA so I unfortunately have no choice but to take nine awful subjects.

Geo teacher is retiring soon (finally) and she's been giving us a bad last impression. I don't want to remember her as the moody looks-like-she's-gonna-cry teacher but as the one who urm... gave us stuff and free time.

Ms Anne finally listened to my advice and locked the boys out of the reading room (and Syaz too, sorry, forgot you had to go to the staffroom) because they're always late.

Heh heh. Our English teacher last year, Mr Perry, always liked my idea but was too nice to actually do it.

Two minutes. Tick tock. I need to learn how to type faster.

After Science extra, where I kept suggesting stupid answers to 'cher Sufy, I followed my cousin to his house because I didn't have transport.

He knows how to iron clothes. XD
Such a good boy.

Then after I got home, I didn't have a chance to do anything related to school other than pack my bag for tomorrow because we had to visit someone's house who's getting married.

Never even seen them before, but all the best.

Weddings.

Urm, my five minutes is up.

Time flashes by so fast.

Bet a lot of people didn't notice today's date.

10-09-08.

Lawa?

Of course.

Incompetence.

Before I forget, the assh*le story I found yesterday on Google.

We're having problems with our new bus driver. He's been picking us up for almost a week now, and still turned into the wrong simpang just now at noon when he was sending us home.

What kind of bus driver has a sense of direction that awful?
I thought they were supposed to be like...oh, I don't know, homing pigeons or something. That sounds superhuman, doesn't it? But meh, look who's talking. The person with absolutely zero sense of direction, me.

At least he doesn't make us wait twenty minutes or so after school for him to pick us up.
Though he likes to let us listen to his radio whether we like it or not.

It renders the iPods we bring into the bus pretty useless.

Now, on with school.

Our replacement form teacher, 'cher Masnur, asked me to take nine subjects. No way, Jose (who?).

Our (MIB) house is getting on just fine, albeit quite slowly. Cikgu Ramlah says we have to finish it before the holidays, because some important guy is coming to have a look at some things and she's going to show him our traditional houses. Brilliant.

Geo passed by painstakingly slowly.

English was...strange.

You know what about these foreign teachers? Sometimes they act as if we're really dull, stupid people, and if we do just one teeny little thing a bit slower, or are a bit clueless sometimes because they don't like to repeat themselves, they just go off the handle.
I don't like it.
Not that I'm writing this for anyone in particular...
Just want to let you guys know that it sucks.

IRK was fun, as usual. Cikgu Mahmud is the awesome-est.

Commerce was all right. You guys, stop making life difficult for her (you know who I'm talking about). It's not entirely her fault, and we can get along, if we want to.

I remember you guys hated our previous teacher. And now you say you like her when a new teacher comes. Give her a chance. That's all I'm asking for.

Now I'm going to do my Commerce holiday homework, and prove that you won't die by doing it.

See ya.

Clueless.

Effie, *salutes back*.
Thanks.

Right. So. Jadinya...

I nominate...

Hmm...

Ash, because it's only (no, not really) through blogging that I know what you're up to in Aussie, and I love your pictures of cupcakes.

Myra. Project Runway 5 should come, sooner or later. Let us be patient.

Caroline. Form four... er... person.

And...urm... whoever whoever because sekarang aku ni malas. (And have absolutely no idea who else to nominate).

Actually, this thing is going to spread like wildfire, because if you do the calculations... Well, just do them yourself.

Adieu.

Chocolate pudding and ice cream.

Why is everybody into reading 'Twilight' nowadays?

Is it because the movie's due sometime soon, or that one of the E. Lit teachers mentioned it during her briefing?

Either way, I find myself full of curiosity. Meaning, I want to read it as well.

I can still taste that chocolate pudding... The one topped with vanilla ice cream and so gooey on the inside yet the crust was just perfect.

Oh, yeah. Good food, good food.

Five seconds ago, I solved the mystery of the tapping at my window. It was a bird.

Anyway, about the Italian restaurant I went to on Saturday night. Lasagna was good, pizza was a bit dry, and my dad loved the lamb shank (a bit barbaric if you ask me, a leg of sheep on your plate. But then again, we eat chicken drumsticks).

Name was... La R- something, can't remember. Location, somewhere at Muara.

I'm such a specific person, I know.

'Greensleeves' is a great song. Nobody knows who wrote it, so it's mysterious that way. If I could call it beautiful, I'd do it: It's a beautiful song.

MIB house update: So far (one week, six days) we have a wall, a floor, a door, and a window. We're still figuring out a way to construct a roof though.

I should go and do my Commerce homework now. We're two lessons behind because we keep skipping class. It's not us, it's them. The people who organise all these events.

'Cher Stella is scary when she's angry.

I was more than devastated when Kimi lost yesterday. He was winning...winning...then he crashed out. Lovely. That's the die-hard racer/brilliant driver/unluckiest person on track I know.

At least now I'm assured he hasn't lost the ability to drive.

Drive well, Iceman.

Win at Monza.

Please.

Forza Ferrari.

(Massa, you can win too. I support you. =) )

Snow is white.

I was writing out lyrics to Coldplay's 'Violet Hill' and somehow wrote "from the rooftops I remember, there was snow... 'black snow'.."

I am so screwed. I mean, where did that come from?

Today = Saturday = School.

School, meh. Reading quiz was hantamed, second half of ceramah was slept through (my brain was on auto-pilot or something, didn't really fall asleep).

Who told us it was going to be a motivational talk, anyway? Turned out to be a kursus whatever whatever akhlak something (in other words, ceramah agama). Sorry, not interested.

Uneventful as it was (excluding that Ustaz guy who kept telling us we were 'hensem'), I managed to tease Siang Wen about her fear of marriage/commitment, find out that Syazirah reads this...what do you call it? Frog...? Cog...log...bog...blog, yeah, that's it, blog, wake Maz up because she kept falling asleep, and finally, my ass hurt from sitting on that blue plastic chair for four hours straight.

Have you ever wondered why they scold us for arriving late at the Audi (past 7.45 a.m) although the people giving the talk arrive an hour later?
What's the point of having us there, then?

Oh yeah, to skip Commerce.
All is forgiven.

The European Music Awards are here, if you want to vote, vote here.

I want to watch F1 Spa (no, not that spa, it's a place in Belgium, if I'm not wrong. Short for 'Spa-Francorchamps') qualifying tonight but my dad's taking us out for some Italian food. He won't say what the occasion is, and the restaurant either, but he mentioned 'chocolate ice cream' so I'm game.

There is little hope of my watching this Grand Prix race live because my tuition time has changed from 7.00 p.m-8.30 p.m to 7.30 p.m-9.00 p.m. I used to be able to watch at least half the race... but now, maybe only the last few laps. I feel like weeping.

I want Kimi to win. What has happened to the awesome Iceman, Kimi Raikkonen I used to know? He keeps...not winning. He hasn't won a race since April, and I think he's been juju-ed by Indians ever since he crashed into Adrian Sutil's car (of Force India).
*sigh*
Don't worry, Kimi. I still have faith in you.

Forza Ferrari.

I introduce to you people, Jamie Scott singing Lily Allen's 'Smile'.

I just adore British artists.

Temptation.

This is the cake we bought from Supa Save just because it looked good.

Then the idiot of a cashier went and tilted it over just to scan the price and ruined it.
I looked at my mum and resisted yelling out, "Hey, lady! Why the hell did you that to my cake?"

I know, looks don't matter. So I thought when I cut the cake.

The cake was light, but there was no real taste there. The icing was worse; too watery (as opposed to the calorie-filled, creamy goodness of quality cakes) and chock-full with artificial sweetener.
The aftertaste was kinda disgusting.

At least it was cheap, so I can't call it a waste of money.

The verdict: Taste matched its cost.

If you don't try, you don't know, but I'm sure not buying that again.

I will now go and do my Science. *cough*

Hopefully.

Odds.

Isn't Isaac just so cute?

Gotta love him. That's why I'm not going to blame him for not studying today. Well, I haven't started yet, to be honest, but I will try (trying isn't good enough, actually. Julius Caesar never built up the Roman Empire by just thinking about it, he actually went and did it).

But I digress. Nathan and Isaac came over just now (their parents brought them, duhh) and who was it to steal the spotlight? None other than the adorable, charismatic Isaac.
We call him "Zack-zack".

Whoops, it's past ten already.

Which means: Past my bedtime.

Which (in turn) means: Go brush your teeth and read your 'Calvin and Hobbes' collection.

Yes, I am a big fan of Bill Watterson and Calvin and Hobbes. My collection lacks a few books before I can call it complete, but I guess I can say I'm satisfied with what I have for now. Some are yellowing (bought by my dad when he was...urm...young) and some are new and fresh (bought by yours truly, me).

I have read Calvin and Hobbes every night before I go to sleep without fail for at least seven years now. I don't get tired of the jokes, the pictures, the illustrations, the big words, the comic strip itself as a whole because it's so damn awesome.
And guess what?
I don't intend to stop.

School: Nothing much to talk about.

P.S. I think I like 'Blackadder'.

Adieu.

Grammatical Error #101

My class has a blog. I still have no comment about it.

Sometimes, people may find me unusually quiet, because as they say, if you've got nothing nice to say then don't say it at all.
Although I may just not be in the mood to talk.

I think something's wrong with me. My English is deteriorating. I find it hard to come up with words, use the right tense and my spelling sucks more than ever.
Why?
What's happening to me?
I'm terribly worried.

Maybe it's the whole, Malay-English thing. It's either I give up speaking in Malay, or put up with terrible grammatical mistakes.

...Screw.

I think in English, mainly. Some people think that it's most likely for you to think in your mother tongue (in my case, Hokkien), but I'm not so sure about that.
English is my main language, forever and more. Don't worry, I won't ditch you. =)

The Chinese of my class are finding it a bit hard, not drinking all morning. But we cannot complain, because we know you guys (Muslims) have to keep it that way all day until sungkai time.
Not eating is fine, but we don't eat sahur. Our classmates keep telling us it's all right to eat and drink in front of them, but it just doesn't feel right, somehow.

I should really go and do my Science PMB book (pink, I might add) before our next Science class in order to avoid embarrassment. It sucks when a teacher asks you for the answer to the question you haven't answered yet.

Our History PMB book is pink.
Our IRK PMB book is pink.
And so is our Science.

Coincidence? I don't know.

Not babbling.

I should do some work.

...Nah.

Then again.... why not?

Make 'cher Sufy happy. Yeah...

Being a non-Muslim during the puasa season isn't easy, actually. Since this is the first day, I keep forgetting about the fact that eating or drinking in public isn't a decent act.

Hm..meh.

Following my obsession with The Sims 2, let me let you know why I love it.

Jaydee's back with a new video. Pretty awesome.

I tagged along with my parents to watch 'Money No Enough 2', but it was all sold out, save the front row. Why they didn't book in the first place was a wonder, but oh well.

So we decided to go shopping. There was completely nothing on my (mental) shopping list, because I'd bought the only thing that was on it a few days ago. A new toothbrush. I don't like hard bristles. Now you know, I brush my teeth with a super soft, fine bristled, Oral-B toothbrush.

Dental care is vital.
This is why we have dentists.

Like, duhh.

Must not fall asleep.

I think, if I were to sum up our new Commerce teacher in three words, they would be: stressed, insecure, and  emotionally unstable.

We don't hate her, but it would be a lot better if she'd just stand up for herself and not be so worried about what her HoD says.
She's got the potential to be a well-liked teacher, but she's just gotta chill first.

If she ever reads this, I'm sorry for...well, I'm not sure, really, but I'm sorry.

The cool thing about having your PE teacher as your form teacher means you can check out your class qualifying results during PE in the air-conditioned PE staffroom.
Fazrul dropped to fifth place. He kind of spent the rest of the day a bit moody and unhappy, 'cause he got beaten by Ziyah, Sil Suan, Zal, and most importantly, me (yes, I'm so evil).
If my memory doesn't fail me, Steph got sixth, Syaz got ninth, Baoxin got thirteenth.

So far, any improvements?
No. We all dropped loads in every single subject. We're doomed. Yay.

Today, I bought food from the canteen for the last time this month, because Ramadhan starts tomorrow and it's not decent to eat in school in front of fasting people.

It's September already (duhh). 'Brisingr' is out on the thirtieth.
Wake me up when September ends.

...Yeah, I still use that lame, outdated joke.

As Fatehah puts it, the day of judgement is near.

PMB.

'Cher Sufy claims that it wouldn't "feel right" if we didn't complete the pink PMB book before the holidays, so we have to have extra classes (again). She's seriously panicking more than we are.
Actually, if we don't do well, we jeapordise our teachers' futures as well as ours. Our results reflect their teaching skills and thus whether they should get fired or not. That's why they worry.
Or maybe they really, really, care for us?
Who knows?
Could be both.

I will study. I will open those textbooks. I will not fall asleep.

Oh yeah.

Selamat berpuasa.

P.S. No swearing, no indecent acts during this Muslim holy month. That's why a lot of people are savouring this day to gossip and swear their hearts out.

...Hmm.

P.P.S. My 3Rs to studying: Read, Revise, Repeat.

3Rs to failing are: Recreation, Rest, Relaxation.
Doesn't it sound so much easier?
