More nothingness.

YouTube search RayWilliamJohnson. He's the reason why I didn't accomplish much yesterday, apart from discover the dude who puts things on his head

I just got back from dinner. Fatinn, Wardah and I were talking about the Brunei language and the origin of the word "poklen". Dari mana tu?

Today was probably one of the most boring and pointless days of my entire life (which honestly means a lot, because I live a rather mundane one -not that I'm complaining, oh no, sir).

Eight sad hours of nothingness and only one hour of proper lessons. God.

If school's purpose was to bore us to death by making us endure long hours of dull lessons in hot humid classrooms or whatever, it has achieved its goal by making us endure long hours of nothingness. And it's cheap, too.

Right before PE, after three hours of being jobless, I went on some strange, retarded sugar high by eating a Tic Tac (courtesy of Jia Hong), a Gobstopper (courtesy of Cheryl), an (or is it 'a') M&M (courtesy of myself), and a Mentos (courtesy of Zhen Jie) at the same time.

Also, today is MJ's (not Michael Jackson) birthday. Happy birthday Miao Jing, and please stop attempting to poke/molest me. Have fun being older (even though you're still way younger than me).

Now I need to go do some work.

Arrivederci.

P.S. Apparently I grew one centimetre since last semester. At least I didn't shrink like some people did. Hmm.

Mass gathering.

I just signed into MSN since what seemed like ages.

And it has triggered a mass alien abduction spree somewhere in the world.

Conspiracy theory coming up.

The Bruneian MoE must really hate me, because after having read "P.P.S. You know what makes me smile? Knowing that the Brunei peeps have to go to school on Monday too. =)", they've decided to extend the school holidays until God-knows-when just to make me miserable.

Let's see. First day of school. Long, draggy, and boring.

Cikgu Isa is still here, and he spent forty-five minutes talking about "Selesema Babi" in Malay, probably a repeat of what our new (yeah, new. Again) mentor was talking about in English previously.

Four hours of class with barely a break in between.

Anyway, life's kinda back to normal with the usual wake up go to school eat do homework sleep wake up go to school eat sleep wait for weekend routine.

So bland.

Skulah inda baik, yo.

Michael Jackson is dead.

Wow.

I'm actually surprised how much it shocked me. I think I was living under the illusion that the dude was going to live forever. But he didn't. Now we're all doomed. Moonwalking will never be the same again.

June is almost over (besides the obvious). I think that once July comes in, I'll actually start remembering that this year is '09, not '08.

I'm going back on Sunday. Early flight.

I haven't packed yet, though. I'm thinking I'll have at least twelve hours to pack tomorrow so now I can go finish of Season 4 of House on my parents' DVD player. Whee.

Not everyone likes to leave home. I don't either. But actually, after a while, it's not so bad after all.

Adios amigos.

P.S. Max Mosley has agreed to step down. Isn't that great? Now if only they'd elect Jean Todt as next president of the FIA.  Forza Ferrari. (Not that I'm saying they should be biased towards Ferrari or anything like that. I just think Jean Todt will be a more decent figure.)

P.P.S. You know what makes me smile? Knowing that the Brunei peeps have to go to school on Monday too. =)

FOTA.

Hello world.

Heard about swine flu lately? Yeahp. That again. What half the internet has talked about these days apart from the Iran elections. What else would I be talking (or writing, whichever thou might prefer) about if I wasn't blabbing to the public about how many cases my dear country has stumbled upon.

H1N1, Influenza A, whatever you might wish to call it to prevent association with little piggies. It's famous, man. And it's ruining our social lives.

Better not go out, they say. Better stay in the country. Better wear masks and get your temperature checked every five minutes. Oh yeah. That would be the life.

We should honestly live life on the edge. We only live once (so they say), and I'm not going to waste it being afraid of every disease that happens to come our way.

But you know, what can we do at a time like this? Absolutely nothing.

Online petition for Max Mosley to step down, anyone?

The wrong trousers.

Yo yo apada yo. Nada yo. Banar? Banar. Yo.

Apakan.

I'm copying this dude from Jangan Pandang Belakang Congkak, the movie which Zall, Syaz, Zimah, Qilah, Meza, Izzah and Neko made me watch, by convincing me it was actually a horror-comedy and not one of those horror movies. They were right. It was amazingly funny.

My post count has been stuck at 444 for like, a week now, so I'm back here to give it a little boost.

The Sims 3 is awesome. Now, you can control even more aspects of your Sims' lives. I think I've turned into a total control freak trying to set how long my Sims sleep (whether it's until they've rested fully or until 6 a.m, which is regular Sim waking time), or what they do at work (chatting beside the water cooler? Sucking up to your boss? Slacking? So many choices).

Neko came over a few days ago and we made this emo blue dude rockstar wannabe that sorta looks like Adam Lambert who has a wife and now two kids called 'Emoez' and 'Gangsta' '. It's a poklen world, man.

I went to JP just now and all the rides were all dilapidated and all the people looked bored out of their minds. Only the kids looked like they were having fun (my brother included).
That place really needs an upgrade.

Yesterday's race was kinda of a disappointment. I mean, congratulations Vettel and Mark Webber and all, but I was just hoping Massa could get a podium position for once. Though fourth place is Ferrari's best result all season.

Arsehole of a president of the FIA. I hope the new series (if it happens) kicks his arse. And Bernie's too.

One more week till school reopens.

Bleh.

Edit: I stand corrected. Kimi got a podium once this season.

The Sims 3!

Yo yo yo, breaking news, yo.

My cousin's back from Holland, and guess what he got me?

THE SIMS 3. Yeah. I'm not kidding you.

And not the downloadable leaked version. The real thing. (Since I'm not allowed to download the free one anyway.)

Check it out, man.  I haven't gotten round to playing it yet though, 'cause it's still installing.

This filler is a sunset photo from The Empire swimming pool. My younger cousins were there on holiday so they invited my brother along to swim.

Whee.

Gay penguins.

Ow.

Thumb and forefinger ache. They were all red and swollen around noon and still hurt now.

I changed my strings today, and since I haven't used that particular guitar for at least a few months, the tuning mechanisms have gotten all squeaky and clogged up. Owww.

But now I've got nice new silver strings (nylon) complete with the composite third (I won't say 'G') string, just like the set in my Alhambra. Good tone, good tone.

Baoxin's going to Singapore tomorrow, apparently. Ah, Singapore, holiday destination for Bruneians during school holidays.
I beg to differ. Ah, Brunei, holiday destination for me and the other NUSH Bruneians during school holidays

Though I think Brunei gets kind of monotonous after a while. Though I've been going out with different people, we always only go to one place. The Mall. God, how sad can it get? We need more lepak-ing destinations, man. I could drown in a sea of emo-wannabes there.

Come to think of it, that's kinda cool. New way to die? "Death by poklenzzz".

My dad made me drink wine today. Bleh. Bitter. Sweet. Bittersweet-ly strong burn-y not nice though strangely addictive.
My great-grandmother (who makes me think of Cikgu Isa) and great-uncle and family came over for dinner, all speaking Hakka with my grandma. Strange dialects. Recalling old stories of old people doing strange eccentric things in the 60s.

Things some people remember. I wonder what I'll remember forty years from now. Probably not much. My great-grandmother's forgotten when her father died (she claimed to remember some Japanese from WWII but she spoke in German instead. Amazing). My grandma still remembers, and she thinks it's funny that her mother's forgotten. I find it scary.

On an entirely different tone, heard about those gay penguins? They're cool, man.

Imma go to bed now.

Adieu.

Nostalgia.

Oh God I'm becoming lazier by the day.

I apologise for the lack of posts, which usually memajal on a daily basis.

On Wednesday, I had dinner with Stel, Shar and Manda at Escapade and then on some weird impulse Shar decided to have a chocolate fondue at Swensen's, dubbing it an "all can eat" night. Hmm.

Chocolate and banana gooood.

And then the day after I went to my great-uncle's house to see his granddaughter (technically my second cousin) Alyssa. The one with the huge eyes. Adorable.
And their house apparently served a double-dosage of cuteness 'cause they had acquired a dachshund during my absence. Hyper little thing. Very cute.

Oh, and I went to MS too, and met Cikgu Ruzidah who asked me a ton of questions in the library. I miss her majal-ness. I miss everything about MS. It's just too awesome for words.

I need to find a way to sync the iTunes of my Macbook and iMac, but I'm not quite sure how. Sharing isn't really helping right now.

I got new strings and picks yesterday. Must change strings.

Also, I had dinner with Stella(8A1 girl) and Effie(si famous) and got completely dwarfed in comparison. Not my fault I'm short. Spent time with at The Mall giving the poklenzzz little comments about how I would fit in with them being the emo gangsta-wannabe I was (perhaps still am) already in my black jacket.

Poor poklenzzz. Always getting laughed at.

Let emos be emo, man.

Stella loves my Italian accent. I wonder why.

I finished reading 'Acacia' this afternoon. Pure amazing, man. Honestly. I loved it, though it took me ages to finish. And to think it was named after a tree.

Oh, and I don't have a Facebook account because people stalk me on it without me even having an account.

Button-ed up.

My holidays so far have been spent eating, sleeping, going out, watching pirated VCDs, basically lazing life away and neglecting my poor blog.

I went out to that Snow House place with Stella and Jan yesterday, after collecting my phone. It works now, thank goodness. Oh, guys, I actually took out my memory card first, which I forgot I did. Blame my seriously short-term memory.

Those Incomm dudes who repaired my phone left some personal text messages in there, stuff like, "Hny. Ling dah sampai", et cetera et cetera and took pictures with it. At least it works again, you know (though I was really tempted to post the numbers online and see what spam they'd receive).

Since my phone isn't not working anymore, I might post a few pictures tomorrow or the day after or the day after that or whenever it is next that I am free.

Also, I am going to add to my agenda the words "Kill Stella aka SAS' cream of the crop/8A1 girl/stick donkey/the wife of Chai" for posting my picture on her blog. Unauthorised.

I watched my first race of the season on Sunday. Turkey. Button won. Again. Ferrari in the middle. Again. Not much fun, apart from the whole Vettel-Webber fight and poor Barrichello being stuck at the back (let the poor dude win, Jensen. He's already such a veteran).
With Kimi becoming the Ice-cream-Man and people making terrible 'Button' puns, what has F1 become?

Speaking of that particular Sunday, Nate and Isaac came over (with their parents, of course. What were you thinking?). Cute beyond cute, the both of them. 'Specially the younger one. He's such an adorable little angel with dimples.

Imma gonna go to bed now.

Night. Talk about today tomorrow/whenever I am free/in the mood to blog.

Arrivederci.

Poklen-ism.

I'm leaving for Nate's birthday party (well not so) in a while. Man, it's been three years since 06-06-06.

We're going to Fratini's tonight, which probably means I'm going to miss qualifying, but that's okay. Birthdays only come once a year. And besides, I really want to go and see the little boys.

I hope Massa grabs pole position this time round. Four-in-a-row, Massa, please?

Forza Ferrari, man. Forever and more. Has faith.

I still can't believe I'll be able to watch this race tomorrow. How cool is that? Super cool. Thank God for Astro.

I went out to our beloved (one and only famous) The Mall yesterday with Neko, her cousin, Myra and Wani. Ate at Pizza Hut. Yum. I'm probably going to have loads of pizzas during my time here. 'Cause pizza good.

We saw all the people with black clothes and carefully gelled hair and heavy eyeliner and either jeans too skinny or too baggy. Ah, Brunei. Such style.

Let emos be emo.

I hardly update nowadays because I think it'd be rather boring if I went on and on about how I spent my day every single post.

Like, for example, today, I woke up and went to brush my teeth. Then I got changed and waited for my mum to pick me up to pick up my brother by playing some last-minute The Sims 2 (yes, I know The Sims 3 is out) and after that we went to lunch and my brother just wouldn't shut up nor sit down properly then after we ate we went to my cousin's house for a while where I played some Spongebob-style Cooking Mama on her DS which was kinda fun till my mum said we had to go so then we left and came back home to watch 'Igor' this movie which I didn't really pay attention to 'cause my brother tried to stab me with his fake injection needle now I have two bruise-like spots on my foot and then I tried to do some other stuff blah blah blah.

You see? You wouldn't want me doing that all the time, would you?

Adieu.

Pwnzorzxx.

0MGWTeFBBQROFLMAO itz JuNe~!!!!!!!!!!! 0MiGodz itzz lyk, s0 h@rD 2 b3li3Vezzzz. Tym g03x bYz s00000 f@stz.

Hey world. Sorry for that momentary relapse into n00b l33tspeak. Ever since Stella and I started doing it to confuse Effie, I've had the ever-growing urge to type that way. ROFLMAO.

Ahh, life. I believe phone companies have everything against me now. Apparently DST have deactivated my account, so I can't make any calls or send any messages. Pfft. That, and all the stuff in my phone has to be deleted if I send it for repair. I'm trying my best to back up all my pics and contacts now, but if you message me and I have no idea who you are, please forgive me.

So like, as most of you probably know (you stalkers), I'm back in Brunei now.

At the boarding gate, where we were all sitting and waiting for our turn to board the plane, the news came on. "Plane goes missing." You know, the terribly tragic one where the entire Air France plane disappeared.
So I watched out of curiosity, along with the rest of the people in the area. Why were so many people interested in this? Then it hit me: We were about to board a plane. And this plane had gone missing. No wonder the people were worried.

Oh, and it's awesome to be able to say, "Hey, I'm local," and grin at the long line of foreigners next to you while you join the much faster line for local passports.

Ah, such fun.

And apparently I'm not allowed to download The Sims 3. Oh well. I've waited for so long already, another month or two wouldn't hurt.

Is lovin' Astro.

Packin'.

I'm supposed to be packing right now, but I decided that if I didn't blog for another hour or so Stella would wake up and check and murder me over the internet. Tsk. Such impatience.

In fact, I am packing now. My clothes (not very many) are all strewn on my bed my shelves are almost empty. All the dust I've uncovered is killing me. Nose has been running and my eyes are all watery. Don't like it.

Should I or should I not bring my guitar back? I'm still deciding (says the world's most indecisive person). What do you think?

Today's school holiday doesn't make any difference because it's a holiday for the Brunei peeps as well (armed forces day). No fun. I like to be able to make myself feel better for not going back sooner by telling people I can wake up late while they have to wake up early to unwillingly go to school. Especially the people from MS who have exams now. Hah. Mine are over. (For now, that is.)

Now I'm online and nobody's talking to me or replying.

If I were a sim, my social level would be so red now. All cooped up in my room, nobody to talk to, the phone I borrowed from Wardah is out of battery because I was stupid enough not to charge it before they left, my Sony Ericsson is still dead, nobody's emailing me.

Where's the social bunny when you need it? (Inside TS2 joke. I'm sorry, I know I'm such a geek.)

I spent most of yesterday afternoon looking at Fail pictures at failblog.org with Ivanka and Hyeon Kyeong. Poor us. So jobless. Have to stay here longer than many other people.

I want The Sims 3.
