Doesn't the second picture look so much more beautiful than the first one?
It's always been about the lighting and always will be.
Anyway, the cake was from The Empire, looks good doesn't it? Yeah.
First bite was like heaven sinking into your mouth, so sweet and soft at the same time.
The second bite was to satisfy the need for more.
By the fifth bite or so, the extreme sweetness starts kicking in, and when you swallow, it sort of...burns?
When you're more than halfway done, the whole thing becomes heavy in your mouth hard to swallow. (Probably served me right for being greedy and asking for a large piece.)
Cake summed up: I now dub it "diabetes on a plate".
Had a sliver just now after dinner.
Verdict: Delicious in small quantities. Bad for health.
