The world accepts this news with numbing silence.
Condolences.
These things happen, you know. Natural disasters. These things have been happening for a long, long time. The incidents that matter are those we actually have control of. Like those riots and genocides and wars. Those we can prevent, given we stick to our ethics and have morals and believe in peace and have hope.
And all this other stuff, we can't do anything about.
It kills us inside to not be able to do anything, but that's just the way things are.
Moving on... That's how the world does it.
