My desktop's got new wallpaper.

I finally found out who the all-so-important visitor was. He was an Education Minister from Indonesia, I think (my memory, as you all know, is deteriorating). This has also renewed my dislike for newspapers and the press.

I'm waiting for the Borneo Bulletin online to update themselves so I can copy and paste a section... And the website says "News will be online after 2pm". It's currently twelve minutes past three in the afternoon. Doesn't this just spell out incompetence? Not to mention the tardiness of the BB folk. But then again, who knows? Someone in the office might've gotten a heart-attack or something.

Since the BB can't provide, I have turned to the Brunei Times. Unfortunately, they obviously don't have the article I want to show you.

Ah... Brudirect. How could I ever forget you?

Indonesia's Minister Of National Education Visits Science College
By Ahmed Shaheeb

Bandar Seri Begawan - Prof Dr Bambang Sudibyo, Minister of National Education, Republic of Indonesia and President of SEAMEO Council, yesterday visited Maktab Sains Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan (MSPSBS), accompanied by Brunei's Minister of Education, Pehin Dato Seri Setia Hj Abd Rahman Dato Setia Hj Mohd Taib. They were greeted upon arrival by students playing the hadrah. The ministers then proceeded to the conference room where a briefing was held and they were officially welcomed by Cikgu Pg Hjh Sarah Kamaluddin, Principal of the Science College.

The visitors also toured the Art Room where students were engaged in some drawing and batik printing, as well as the gymnasium, where they were entertained by enthusiastic performances from the
karate, kendo and silat clubs.

The visiting delegation then went to the canteen to observe a showcase of local traditional games like pasang and congkak.

There was also a demonstration on the process of wrapping local food known as mengelupis, as well as a traditional dance performance by the college's students. At the end of the visit, scouts and girl guides gathered at the administration block to bid the visitors farewell.

Among the delegates from the Republic of Indonesia were Prof Dr Dodi Nandika, Secretary General at the Ministry of National Education, Dr Ir Gatot Hari Priowirjanto, Head of the Bureau of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr Joko Pratomo, Head of the Division of International Facilitation Services, and Muhd Thohari, a staff member from the ministry. --

Now please turn your attention to the section in bold. As far as I know, we don't have a silat club. And secondly, where's taekwondo??? I could've sworn they were performing. Seriously. But then again, I may be wrong.
